Mission Man rocking the house in Athens

October 8th, 2005

These guys (and girls) were jumping so much that the house shook and the CD player skipped several times. Not to worry, I recovered quickly every time. The set was a ton of fun, and since so many people knew my lyrics the energy was incredible. I also got to play some songs I normally wouldn't get to play, such as "My Heroes," which isn't exactly dance party material. Everyone in this picture is awesome, from G to Adam to Amanda to Dan and everyone in between, and the people who couldn't fit into the main room and listened from the other rooms were equally as shiny (I'm starting to use that word after watching the entire Firefly series twice through). It was a Goram good time!

"Hitting a smooth jumper as I flip my wrist! Sometimes I just wanna get down!"

"I caught a glimpse of a dream."

Man, I love playing the bass!

This is what it's all about! Getting down with the crowd and everyone having a great time. It's these kind of experiences that keep me going and make every minute of sacrifice worth it, every pizza that I delivered to someone who was passed out, or drunk and rude, or that I had to wait on to get home, or had to call to get into their fraternity or dorm. Thank you Adam for bringing me out to Athens for this, and thanks to everyone there for making this one of the best shows of my life.

Drum solo, and... "Prime time players are all about winning!"

Thanks again, Athens, for making me feel like a Prime Time Player!
