A slightly smaller turnout than the first show, but an awesome crowd. I recorded the set, and it came out very well. I will get some mp3s up here when I can, including the explicit freestylings of Quinn's drunken friend. For those of you who were there, you are all too familiar with the fact that it was Quinn's birthday. We really beat that to death. After midnight, it became my birthday. I was on stage when it turned midnight, making it symbolically the best birthday I've ever had. I love playing at Elbo's. I come with a setlist, and it gets thrown out the window about halfway through the set because people start screaming for Chillin' at the Papa when I've already performed it. I performed it three times that night, and I also performed Prime Time Players three times that night. I've decided I'm always going to jump as high as I can (which will vary based on the crowd response) during the change from drum solo to chorus in that song. Thanks Eli Roth, for doing the drums on that song.
Thank you everyone for making my Elbo's shows incredible. Let everyone know I'll be back on February 15th, and I might even have stickers to giveaway that night. They're supposed to be shipped on Feb. 1st, so here's hoping.
I need some pics from this night. Catfishcatfish.com had them up for about 2 days, and then took them down. If you have any, let me know and send them to me.
Come back later for mp3s and hopefully pics.
