I currently live in this town, and if you can get a gig at these places, it's definitely worth it.  It's a small college town, but you're guaranteed a crowd Thursdays-Saturdays, and the money is great for the size of the places you play.  A warning, it's very hard to get a gig here as an original solo musician.  I haven't had any luck doing it yet, and I know I could draw a crowd of well over 100 people just to see me perform here.
