The following is a table of CD Manufacturers.  Infomation included on the table is the name of the CD Manufacter, the CD Manufacturer's price for 300 CDs, 500 CDs, 1000 CDs, their website address, their phone number and the CD manufacturer's processing time for an order.  Prices include at least jewel case, shrink wrap, cover, and CD itself.  If you are seriously shopping around for a CD manufacturer, please take the time to check all of them out.  Depending on your budget, it might be worth the extra cost to go with someone like Discmakers.  The prices on here are estimated from what I could find.  It may vary if you have different specifications, so you will probably want to go to the individual websites, or call them all before making a final decision.  There's nothing worse than spending $1200-$1800 on your 1000 CD run and not being happy with them.  Finally, if you know of a manufacturer that's not on this list, or if one of the links is no longer valid, please email me at missionman@missionman.net.  I want this list to be as complete as possible, but stay in tact as well.  I'll accept one without a website as well, but only if they have a toll free number, or you think they are absolutely worth the long distance phone call.  Y

If this information is helpful, please support Underground Music Monthly by buying the Complete Mission Man Collection at CDBaby.com.

I've worked out discounts with some of the manufacturers here, including Media Omaha.  Mention Underground Music Monthly, and you'll get $25 off your order from them.  CDMan will give you a $50 discount if you mention Underground Music Monthly. Rovix will give you a $60 discount (and a free upgrade from Silkscreen to Offset) if you mention UMM.

I haven't checked on many of these manufacturers for a while, so some may be out of business and likely all will have changed their prices. I can say that I received the information on Rovix in October 2005, and that's why it's outside of the table:

1000 CD Replication
Full-color Surface (free upgrade from Silkscreen to Offset if you mention Underground Music Monthly)

Total: $960 (Minus $60 if you mention Underground Music Monthly)

SWIFTCD - there's a reason why I put them below the table and not in it.  They have on demand CD sales, starting at $6.99.  That seems really high at first, but when you consider making 1,000 copies of a CD will cost you about $1300, there's a price of $1.30 there, plus you have to figure in whatever commission a company's going to take.   Amazon, if you can still sell your CD there independently, takes 55 percent, so if you have a $10 selling price, they take $5.50.  Add those together, and it becomes $6.80, if you had the cash to make 1,000 at once.
