I wrote this CD in three and a half weeks in June 1996, when I was 17. I recorded it in three and a half hours in a studio in the middle of nowhere Kentucky. Only two or three songs took multiple takes. The lyrics are not up for "Stay Real" as the song was supposed to show that I could be hardcore if I wanted, but that isn't my lifestyle. Instead, it comes across as just a hardcore song, so I stole the beat from that song and changed the key it was in, and used it for "Chillin' at the Papa." The lyrics for Mother are not up because it's too depressing of a song for me to listen to or type (or even read) the lyrics to. I listened to it once after it was recorded to make sure it sounded ok, and have never listened to it since. The lyrics for "Is There A God?" won't be posted either, as my views are significantly different than they were at 17, and the song means nothing to me now.
